I earned my first degree, an Associate of General Studies, from Ivy Tech Community College in 2017. After a short time I returned to Ivy Tech to begin a second degree, an Associate of Science in Software Development, which I completed in 2019. Since then I've used what I learned to start a career in Information Technology.
In summer of 2019 I joined the Tippecanoe County Government as an Intern for the Department of Information Technology. A short time after I finished my second degree I was offered a role with the Tippecanoe County Department of Information Technology. In June of 2020 I joined as a full-time Helpdesk Technician. Then in late 2022 I was promoted to my current role as Software Specialist.
My technical skills include proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, HTML and Javascript. I have the ability to use AI tools to develop scripts and write functions, or even create programs.
I posess strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software. I am capable of building custom computer systems from parts. I have experience with RAID configurations, and utilization of disk imaging & backup software such as Macrium Reflect.
I'm also familiar with creating content for the web and I have some experience in WCAG compliance.
Send me a message and I'll get back to you soon!
